the house was exceptionally quiet these days.

main reason being - the tv cable and its plug had been taken away and being hidden somewhere else. guess my aunt was really mad and furious about my cousins who are always glued to the tv and did not do their homework or revision. and it sort of reminded me of my high school days. my father took the astro sim card as well as the modem along with him to work on every weekday after his lunch break hoping that without the tv and the internet, we would use the spare time to study. at first my sister and i were angry. but later i just didn't care anymore and spent my afternoons sleeping, daydreaming or playing piano. 

as for my cousins, they are quite hardworking now.. hmm i guess it might work on them. as for me, i'm not sure whether i should do the same to my future kids or not. but one thing for sure, i am starting to miss the sound of the tv in the background and those quirky tv commercials.
