Of work.

On the first day of work, i was nervous. i squeezed my way to the office with other people. i reached office 10 mins earlier, and the director showed me my table and gave me a few files that i was supposed to work on. i went for lunch with 2 female colleagues, who were kind enough to invite me to join them for mc donalds. both of them are so petite and short that i look freaking huge and gigantic beside them -_- went for medical checkup in the afternoon and left office at 5.40pm. no OT yay!!!

On the second day of work, i was supposed to follow my senior to client's office at raffles place. when we were about to leave, my heels broke -_-  fml what a joke! it was such an awkward and embarrassing situation and i didnt know how to react. thankfully one of my very kind colleagues lent me her spare sandals.  so, i had no choice but to grab a new pair of heels during lunch, which turned out to be another fml moment. traipsing from one shoe shop to another with your senior who is at his mid-forties is just plain weird. i told him i can do the shopping myself but he said he didnt mind walking around since lunch time was not over yet. hence, i was so stressed to find a pair of heels  that i needed so urgently asap. major fml! after a few shops, i ended up with a pair of cream peep toe low heels. thank god.

On the third day of work, i began to wonder, damn, it's only day three out of my 30 years of working life. how am i gonna survive?

I have no memory on my fourth day of work. 

On  the fifth day of work, i woke up with a sudden crave for starbucks' green tea latte!!!!! so on my way to the office, i grabbed one for myself and tried not to think about the fact that the price is about 5 times of a cup of coffee in kopitiam. and surprisingly it turned out that the green tea latte became the fuel for motivation to work. i love you green tea latte! <3

and that's my first week of work. *pats self on the back* all the best!! you have another 30 years to go! FML
