goodbye, 2010

hello everyone! Happy 2011!!

most people does this in january, reminiscing the old year and contemplating the coming new year and you know what? i'm gonna do the same thing as well :)

2010 is by far my most fruitful year, with a lot of wonderful things happened around me unexpectedly. and i must say that my greatest achievement for the year is falling in love with someone really special. i always wanted to write a post about him but i just don't have enough time (sorry baby!). they said it's best to fall in love with your best friend, and i couldn't agree more. we have so many things in common, which is quite scary initially, but after some time i thought it was cool. he's the most patient and caring person i've ever met. and i love that he is always willing to listen to me and give good advices. having that said, i considered this as good karma (: (screw all the guys out there who cheated on their gfs, karma's gonna come back and kick ur ass, really hard!) i am quite confident with this relationship and i hope it will work out :)

conquered broga hill XD

however, academically things weren't that smooth. i sat for my final two papers in june and was glad that it  has finally came to an end. when the result was being released in august, i failed both of them. unexpectedly. i always thought i'm gonna pass either of them. it was pretty hard on me, probably because i've not faced any serious failure in my studies before. but oh well, nothing else i can do except accepting the fact.

2010 is also the year that i travelled the most, which is also another achievement! i spent almost the entire second half of 2010 wandering here and there, living in a suitcase under different shelters. the pros:  self-satisfaction, broader perspectives, pro packer. the cons: packing, constantly have to worry about overweight luggages

cuti-cuti malaysia includes:

Genting Highlands

Penang

 Kedah

Sarawak

and Cameron Highlands

cuti-cuti asean:

Singapore

and thailand!

and then in august, i went on the trip of my life. it is my 2nd time to australia, but this time not as a tourist, but as a work and holidaymaker :)

the experience in australia could warrant another post, but like always, i am just too lazy. you can punch me now >.<

i lived in melbourne with my not-so-close hong kong relatives. i have never met them before this, but step by step i learnt to adapt to their hong kong family lifestyle. thank god my cantonese is not too bad, lol.

life in a playroom (spot my little eeyore on the left! =D). imagine waking up with toy cars, robots and lego. hahaha i think it is pretty cool.

when i was not working in the cafe, i would be working as either babysitter, piano teacher or housekeeper. and when i'm not working, i would be wandering around melbourne. it was indeed a precious experience.  and for the first time i spent a lot of time traveling on my own. i felt so close to myself, i felt so different.

2010 ended with fireworks in sunway pyramid. =D  it was also my first time spending new year eve in kl

at the end of 2009, i thought my shitty life would continue to be shitty.  but i was very wrong. 2010 was such a good year for me, perhaps it won't hurt to be a little optimistic. that, is one thing that i shall learn.

wow!!!!! did anyone actually read the whole thing? this is such a longgggggg post, i've never posted so many pictures of myself in my blog XD i guess it makes up for all the lack of updates in 2010. heh

may 2011 would be another awesome year :D
